(GEULPH, Ont): The Thunderbirds headed to Guelph this past weekend to face the Gryphons to end off the 2023/2024 soccer season.
In their first game, the women lost 3-0 to Guelph, with
Makayla Townes making 11 saves during the game.
The men's game seemed as though it was going to end in a draw, as
Noah Zeppa, a senior, tied up the game in the 60th minute, assisted by Kanye Charles. In the final minute, Guelph scored leaving the game at 2-1.
Joshua Bondoc had a total of 7 saves.
In their second game, the women lost 2-0 to Guelph, facing the team with better energy and grit that game one.
Megan Chandler, one of our seniors, made 12 saves.
The men's team lost their second game with a score of 3-0.
Joshua Bondoc made 8 saves throughout the game.
