Group Fitness Classes
The George Leach Centre (GLC) offers a range of free group fitness classes to enhance your cardiovascular health, strength, muscle tone, and balance. Any GLC membership provides you with access to our aerobic schedule. Classes take place in one of three fully-equipped fitness studios.

The class schedule below provides a general overview for the FALL 2025 semester, but it may not be 100% accurate. We ask that all members book/register for each class by clicking the link below each class. This ensures you have a spot and helps us avoid exceeding class capacity. The link will take you to the most up-to-date schedule for each week.

All Terrain Cycling: an intense cardio class that will take spinners through easy, medium, and intense energy output levels as they move through a variety of hill climbs, road sprints, and intervals. With a focus on cadence, heart-rate, timing, and rhythm, all of the hand and body positions are used to create an unpredictable ride that is fun and challenging. Suitable for indoor cycling newcomers and experienced riders!
Basic Pilates: learn your basics through an introduction to the Pilates Reformer, setup, safety exercises and the Pilates principles. Get to know your exercises through a designed series to make you feel great and ready to advance.
Circuit Training*Currently not offered* : an excellent way to improve mobility, strength and stamina. Circuit Training comprises a series of exercises that are complete one after another. This is great for cardio and strength.
Core and Stretch for Seniors: A mindfulness mat class focusing on core strength, flexibility and breathing techniques.
Glow & Flow Yoga:
Start your week with this wholesome and flow-style practice to feel energized and centered.
Mom & Baby Fitness: This class is for new moms looking to get out of the house with their babies. We will focus mostly on body weight strength exercises. You'll have the option to wear your baby or lay them next to you so feel free to bring a carrier and yoga mat! This is a great opportunity to connect with other new moms in the community!
Power Yoga: an all levels power yoga class. This class will help promote flexibility, strength, toning, and balance with some challenging components and patterns decreasing stress and tension.
Ripped *Currently not offered*: an interval based group exercise class that incorporates cardio training and resistance training. This high energy class consists of body weight exercises and weight training throughout seven pump-up music tracks. Full body workout.
Tighten n Tone: a high intensity, low impact total body workout to get your day started!
Stretch & Recover Yoga:
Offset the tightness from your workouts or chronic sitting with this dynamic class, and feel looser and lighter after.
Weights and Cardio / Pump: this class takes the participant through a series of cardio and strength training exercises with a relatively brief rest between intervals. The purpose is to keep the heart rate elevated near the aerobics level without dropping off to ensure fast, dramatic fitness results.
Yoga: a beginner to intermediate yoga class designed to promote flexibility, strength, and balance with breathing, stretching, and relaxation exercises. Some classes wil focus on ball use and sun salutations. Great for all skill levels.
Zumba*Currently not offered* : this integrated Latin dance-based, super-fun, action-packed workout will have you moving and grooving to the music! Ditch the workout and dance your way into fitness.
