Another Impressive Weekend for the Thunderbird Wrestling Program

Both Anthony Nighbor and Lilah Fraser lead the tournament in post pins as well (men's and women's divisions).   The gold medal match at 57 kg was between two Algoma University wrestlers as well, a first for us!

Quote: "Finishing the first half of the season on a strong note was important to the team.  After travelling and competing 5 times in the last 7 weeks, the team is ready to take a quick break and get back to the mats to fine tune some of our mistakes from the last couple months.  The expectation is to come back even more competitive for the second half and the lead up to OUA and USports Championships."
