The Algoma University Thunderbirds are excited to announce the addition of Alessandro Cenedese to the men's soccer program for the upcoming season.
Cenedese, a midfielder from Cloverdale, B.C., has been playing soccer since the age of three and brings years of experience and skill to the Thunderbirds. He attended Holy Cross Regional High School and played for the FC Tigers Vancouver and Langley United, competing in high-level tournaments such as the MIC.
A versatile player who can slot into both the central midfield and winger positions, Cenedese is eager to make an impact with the Thunderbirds. "I will bring good energy and a strong attitude, always doing whatever I can to positively impact the team on the pitch while giving my best on and off the field," he shared.
Outside of soccer, Cenedese enjoys basketball, hiking, and reading. He will be pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Algoma this fall. When asked why he chose Algoma, he emphasized the program's fit him both athletically and academically. "It's a great program and school, and Coach Andreychuk communicated everything about the program and made me feel inclined to attend."
Welcome to the Thunderbirds, Alessandro!
