The Algoma Thunderbirds are thrilled to welcome Aseret Miranda from El Paso, Texas, as the newest member of the women's varsity wrestling team!
A graduate of Horizon High School, Aseret enters the Thunderbird lineup with four years of competitive experience and a long list of impressive accomplishments, including:

She's not only a fierce competitor on the mat—she's also a high achiever in the classroom, ranking in the Top 10% of her graduating class. Aseret will be pursuing a Psychology degree at Algoma U, drawn to the program's strong research opportunities and dedicated faculty.
