The Algoma Thunderbirds are proud to welcome Ryan Zimmer, a talented Guard from Regina, Saskatchewan, to the women's basketball roster!
Ryan has been playing basketball since the age of 8 and has made her mark on the court with Team Saskatchewan and Rise Above Basketball, competing at the national level year after year.

"I chose Algoma U because it's a place where everyone feels like family," says Zimmer.
Known for her relentless work ethic and team-first mentality, Ryan describes herself as "a hard-working student in both the classroom and on the court." She'll be studying Biology (BSc) at Algoma U and is looking forward to becoming part of a close-knit campus community.
