Thunderbirds Women's Soccer Adds Local Talent Madalyn Clement

The Algoma University Thunderbirds are proud to announce the commitment of Madalyn Clement to the women's soccer program.

A Sault Ste. Marie native and graduate of Korah Collegiate and Vocational School, Madalyn has been playing soccer since the age of four. She's a versatile and aggressive player who excels as both a centre back and striker, bringing physicality and high energy to the field.

Madalyn has played for Sault City United and previously competed with Algoma University, adding valuable experience and familiarity with the Thunderbirds' system. A recipient of the Percy Bedford Athlete of the Year award, she's no stranger to athletic success and competitive environments.

Outside of soccer, Madalyn is passionate about volleyball, basketball, and painting, and will be pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology this fall.

When asked why she chose Algoma U, her answer was simple: "The soccer team."

Welcome back to the pitch, Madalyn!
