Connor has been Nordic skiing from an early age, and has been a member of Team Nova Scotia, the Nipissing University Lakers, and Soo Finnish Nordic. He has raced at Canadian National Championships, the Canada Winter Games, and OUA championships. He believes in a tailored approach to each athlete, with a focus on technique development
