Ali Kordi is the new Head Coach of the Thunderbird Women's Soccer program and will enetering his first season this Fall. He has his UEFA B certification and is currently completing the CONCACAF A Diploma with Canada Soccer. He also has a B.A. in Sport Science and Physical Education.
Kordi hails from Langley, British Columbia, where is started his soccer career. He played 15 years at the youth and amateur levels, as well as 12 plus years coaching at youth and senior levels. He also has six years of experience as a high-level sport/soccer journalist. He also has coaching experience at the Semi Pro level in League 1 BC with Langley United Men's Soccer. He also has coaching experience at the University level as an Assistant Coach with the Capilano University Men's Soccer team. In 2025 Langley United won the League 1 BC championship and he was an Assistant Coach with the team.
