Jarret was born/raised in Sault Ste. Marie and has always had a passion for sports. Jarret is an Algoma U Alumni, graduating with a degree in Business Administration. Once he graduated from AU, Jarret wanted to take a deeper dive into sports and he completed his Sport Management graduate certificate at Algonquin College in Ottawa, ON.
After graduating in 2019, Jarret began his sports career by interning with the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group. After a few months, he was then hired on as an Account Manger for Season-Seat Members, overseeing 1000 different membership accounts. During COVID, Jarret's sports career took a pause and he moved back to Sault Ste. Marie where he worked at the Sault Area Hospital as a department scheduler before joining Algoma U. He is now back in the industry that he loves and is focused on continuing the growth of Algoma U Athletics.
