Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 (SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont) This past weekend, our men's soccer teams played back to back games versus McMaster. Due to COVID-19 precautions, our women's team was unable to play. 

On Saturday, the men came to the field only to be greeted by a harsh bout of hail and rain. Joshua Bondoc was in net ofr the game. This was probably one of the best games we had seen form our team. The dynamic seemed to improve compared to previous games, and with a couple of chances getting us close to net, they were certainly eager to play the next day. The final score for Saturday's game was 4-0 for McMaster.

On Sunday, the weather didn't pay the teams any favours. Despite this, we saw a lot of grit from out team. One notable moment was Alexander Burt leaving the net to hype up his team on the opposing end of the field. This certainly made an impact, as the with only seconds left of the game, James Webb scored with a header. The final score this game was 2-1 for McMaster. Despite the loss, the energy that we saw at the end of this game was like no other. We hope to see this energy continue in the last games of the season as the Thunderbirds travel to face the Waterloo Warriors! 

As this was the last set of home games, we also want to take the time to highlight our seniors. These individuals have not only shown dedication to their sport and skillset, but also to the members of their team. These individuals have helped create a path to make this program better year after year as we continue to grow. They have become role models on campus, on the road, within the city of Sault Ste. Marie, and truly exemplify what it means to be a Thunderbird - Trust, Integrity, honesty, reliability and loyalty. We would like to congratulate the following athletes:
