(GUELPH, Ont.): This past weekend, our basketball teams made their way down to Guelph for back to back games against the Gryphons.
On Friday, the women's team managed to have a close third quarter, but it was Guelph who ultimately took the win for a final score of 59-41.
Kaila Fong had a stellar game, earning the team 21 points - making up half of the team's final score!
On Saturday, the women had a tougher game, loosing to Guelph 72-39. With the second quarter being tied, Algoma faced a hard second half of the game. Top scorer was once again
Kaila Fong, who earned the team 12 points.
On Friday, although the men had a great fourth quarter, the team lost 89-79.
Taleh Wade had an outstanding game, scoring the team 27 points.
On Saturday, the team had a tough game like the women. The team lost 83-53. Top scorer of the game was
Taleh Wade with 17 points.
